CRMIT @ Android Camp

Mr. Naga Chokkanathan, R & D Director, CRMIT was invited to share his expertise thoughts during the ‘Android Camp’ held at Bangalore on 16th July, 2011. The focal point of this event was to give an essential educational resource for everyone building / selling apps for Google’s red-hot Android operating system. The crowd majorly consisted of Android Developers, Android Evangelists, Mobile Apps Experts and Android enthusiasts.

Naga spoke on “Pricing Models for Android Enterprise Applications”. He covered the interesting topics such as:

  • Selling applications for individual Android users’ vs Selling to big enterprises/developers,
  • Need to adopt number of different pricing models to make an impact on Android market with high expectations and specific demands.
  • Channels to use to Target/ Market and Sell an application for Enterprises etc.,)

Oracle OnDemand – a Preferred CRM Solution

Oracle CRM as a software and CRMIT as a preferred partner have given United Healthcare the solution that can be best used for adding value and quality to their business within their strict schedule and limited budget. The major achievement was the delivery of the new CRM solution in a hosted environment without compromising any functionality that an enterprise class solution can offer.

United Healthcare (UHC) is a leading US Healthcare Services Company handling the healthcare accounts of millions of individuals. Their business demands managing customer interactions across multiple communication channels. Increasing maintenance costs, navigational difficulties, lack of process tracking/monitoring, expected uniformity in data maintenance etc., were some of the challenges annoying the customer’s sales team. They already tried an enterprise CRM solution. But the user adoption was poor. Mr. Jim Lane, the vice president of national accounts for United Healthcare (UHC) group says, “The cost to keep the existing system current and to keep up with advances in technology and user interfaces became too great and too much for the company to swallow. Oracle (http://www.oracle.com/) conducted an executive seminar, ‘Turbo Charge Your Sales Results’, for Sales Leaders, Decision Makers and Sales Teams to get an comprehensive insight into the entire sales process with Oracle CRM OnDemand platform. Participants were invited from various companies across verticals. The seminar was decorated with the audacious speakers, inclusive of the Heads of Marketing and Sales Department from Oracle India, MPS, HelpAge India, and CRMIT.

Mr. Naga Chokkanathan, our Co-Founder and Director was invited to present our experience on "Enabling the CRM OnDemand Customer". This presentation covered various features and benefits of Oracle CRM OnDemand solution and its implementation as a pleasant experience with right attention to details. CRMIT’s Contribution to the ‘Research Areas in Computer Science'

Mr. Naga Chokkanathan, Our Director- R&D was invited to share his thoughts in the first annual workshop on ‘Research Areas in Computer Science’ arranged by School of Computer Science & Engineering & Bharathidasan University Technology Park, Tiruchirappalli. The objective of this workshop was to throw light on research ideas, and recent research trends and tools for the student community.

Naga spoke on the Topic “Mobile Computing”. He started his presentation by giving a brief introduction on Mobile Applications and their artifacts. Highlighting the challenges faced by the industry on a day to day basis, he brought to the table the CRMIT solutions by stressing on the configurations and customizations made to the applications for customer satisfaction on both enterprise level and on the personal front. He also listed various technologies which are making headway on mobile computing, and how students can focus their research energies on this field, at the same time benefiting commercially from the grand progress being made everyday.
