Dreamforce 2023
The excitement continues on Day 2 at Dreamforce 2023, with focused sessions addressing specific aspects of AI, generative AI, and the looming AI skills gap.

All discussions and conversations continue to revolve around AI and GPT, and how to apply these technologies to use. Salesforce speakers emphasized on the company’s efforts to educate their customers and further use AI and generative AI to enhance the platform.

According to Salesforce co-CEO Benioff, AI and GPT are still evolving and have immense potential. They are going to change things very soon and we can “witness history being made”.

Another important aspect that got a lot of attention was AI governance, security, ethical AI; and how regulations are required to build trust with customers. Salesforce senior executives spoke at length about bridging the AI trust gap with the Einstein Trust Layer.

The company will also be further exploring its association with Slack and how to increase Slack usage to improve productivity and efficiency.

Though upbeat about the future, the panelists did express concern over a widening AI skills gap across the globe and mentioned that cultivating new talent is a crucial focus area for Salesforce. The company offers a wide variety of AI learning kits and skills on its Trailhead online learning platform, and Nathalie Scardino, Chief People Officer at Salesforce highlighted how “continual learning” at the company is putting AI first when it comes to innovation.

Well, just one more day to go here at Moscone. Let’s see what themes will take centerstage on the final day at Dreamforce.
