Tool Management Solution

ToolSchedulerPro is a plug-in to help you manage tool booking in a seamless way to schedule or rent a tool from the inventory along with scheduling technicians in FSL. The tools are often shared assets, and their availability needs to be planned along with the scheduling and dispatching for technicians. The tools requested will have to go through an approval from the respective management representative basis the tool availability.

Features of Tool Management

  • Manage tool categories, individual tools, assets and tool statuses.
  • Map tool categories to SF Work Types to define the default toolset needed for every Work Order.
  • Book tools on a Work Order or a Service appointment, by their availability from a Gantt view.
  • Ability for a tool manager to review new tool bookings against existing bookings which are pending for approvals.
  • Ability for a field technician to view the status of tool requests and the list of approved tools made available for the service appointment, from the web and the Field Service Lightning Mobile App.
